Last days in Ontario

We fly off this afternoon. We had fun with the Piovoso family (a short but nice visit), great times in Toronto with the Lomacks and a happy monkey who enjoyed all the attention and treats. Thanks Onkle Adrian for taking us out to the St. Lawrence market, yummy hotchocolate and the park. Allan Gardens, the Eaton Centre, the Witowski's was fun too, hanging out, dinners etc. Thanks Everyone! See you soon again, we hope.

Christmas 2010 in Ontario

Welcomed at the airport by the entire Lomack family who snuck in where all the baggage was coming out, was a nice surprise. Jane enjoyed curious george all the way to London and the cats upon arrival. Many fun toys set up; so hours of entertainment and stimulus here. We celebrated christmas the next day with tofurkey, stuffing and the works and a morning of gift opening. Nana and Auntie Michelle surprised Jane with twin dolls (boy and girl), but it seems JE does not have enough love to share beyond monkey right now. Monkey has a nice bed to use here that comes to bed with Jane with the backpack. Soon their won't be room enough for JE.

Christmas 2010 in Calgary

We enjoyed a wonderful meal. Fondue, salads galore, great company and lots of treats. It was fun to watch the kids nativity story using lego and singing all the songs before we could open an presents. Jane Ellen LOVED all her presents, especially her new green alligator backpack/suitcase from Oma and Opa. She even sleeps with it. Christmas day is dinner at the Carlson seniors and more fun playing with the kids.

Nana, we tried the dress for Christmas eve but after a BIG fight and a purple face; I had to give up. She was having nothing of it. Sorry.

Baking with Claire and Christine

The girls loved this. Both climbed up on the horse to see what was going on and test the batter; even it it was all flour and icing sugar.

Thank you Oma and Opa for hosting Nikolaus Tag. We are very glad that the servant brought us yummy things and no spankings. Thank you for the stories, treats, songs, dinner and fun.

winter has hit Calgary

Last few days the roads have been a nightmare. Lots of accidents in Calgary. We are staying warm and having fun though. No shortage of play dates. The sleep over with the boys was a big hit - thanks! We have had lots of fun! Jane Ellen and I are looking forward to a relax day friday and some christmas baking!
