Christmas day activities

Enjoyed a quick brisk walk and visit with Lynne, our neighbor. Then a feast with the Carlsons once again. Yummy!! Also got some giggles!!

Christmas Day at home

Looks like Jane Ellen enjoys all her gifts! Thank you everyone! She will be well dressed and have lots of toys to play with for atleast a year. Very spoiled on her first Christmas!! Lucky girl!

Christmas eve at Oma and Poopas

Jane Ellen's first Christmas. What fun. Lots of excitement - giggles and smiles. Only part she slept through was dinner. Perfect timing. She was sure into the opening gifts thing and crashed hard in the car on the way home.

week 15 ...

Had the boys for a sleepover and we went to the space and science centre. Lots of fun. Also watched way too much Star Wars!

We plugged the tub with a face cloth so used the sink today.

Another Christmas party!!

Had a great time with colleauges at the winter club today. Lots more parties coming up too! Jane Ellen is meeting more great people! She has a bit of a stuffed up nose lately but is doing well despite the -30 weather.

Oma says this site needs updating

Well we've been baking lots and getting ready for christmas. Tante Elke made Jane Ellen laugh and laugh and laugh today.... I was jealous. She's never done that for me before. Also, Jane Ellen got a parcel from Auntie Michelle today with some dresses. What do you think?

Santa!!

A christmas party for kids, courtesy of Pauls company. FUN for adults too. Jane Ellen had a quick visit with Santa ... she didn't cry... and mom enjoyed the rest of the fun ... face painting, baloon making, food, crafts! Today was also a very big snow fall day. Beautiful heavy snow but VERY slippery roads.

It was fun to meet Kathryn - only 5 weeks old. How tiny she is compared to Jane Ellen. Matthew was a big boy and was very gentle with the little girls. Reminded me of our little Matthew ... in PEI.

VRRI

Play time at the VRRI. We are finding some fun places to run around when Jane Ellen is able and when the weather is too cold. We had a nice visit this week with Rio and Claudia, Gabriella and Luke too!

Daddy's birthday in Banff!

What a fun weekend. A night at the Banff Springs courtesy of Pauls company including a formal dinner and brunch ....mmmm. A great room on the 10th floor of the old castle. Free babysitting by Oma and Poopa ... what a treat. Thank you Oma and Poopa!!! A day walking the streets in Banff and hanging out at the Banff springs pool.... A great birthday for Dad!! Going to be hard to beat next year.
