Last few days have been lots of fun playing with the boys and of course, Helga. All the boys, including the Carlson boys have lots of energy. Only 'boy' with little energy is Dad (Poopa). We are all hoping Poopa gets better very soon. In the meantime, lots of trips to the park, the zoo and play dates are planned!

I think Ben and Kurtis will be great friends and Thomas and Mitchell! Future penpals!

Papa is coming home today!!!

The week has flown by. We had a great time resting at Oma and Poopa's house for 2 nights! Thank you Oma and Poopa!!! Hanging out a day in Bragg Creek with Val and Liam was fun too. Time does fly by! We will be picking up Papa from the airport tonight!!

Thank you to Jill, Lauren and Julia for bringing us dinner - holding Jane Ellen - playing in the park - and giving Jane Ellen your nice clothes to wear. We had a great time!

3 weeks old today - and growing like r visa weed. It will be a tough week for Daddy, Nana and Gramps especially - back to work full time for everyone! We sure enjoyed the visit and will miss Nana and Gramps ... but we look forward to seeing their backyard sanctuary in the spring. Tante Helga. Onkel Steve, Matt, Ben and Thomas arrive on saturday - we are very excited! AND Auntie Michelle has booked her flight for November - more fun times ahead!!

A lot less cuddling will happen when Nana, Gramps and Dad leave on Sunday. We've had a great time - lots of home improvement projects completed including a fantastic window for the laundry room and a beautifully painted room for little Jane Ellen. We will miss all the help with cooking, cleaning, laundry and visits too. Hopefully Oma, Poopa and Tante Elke will be able to fill in for cuddles next week until Tante Helga and family arrive!

Day 15 today!

Had some great visits with Tante Kristyn and Mitchell lately. So nice of them to come over with yummy food in hand. Thank you Thank you!!!! Every time we see Mitchell it reminds me how fast babies grow. Mitchell is 18 weeks old.

Been having fun with the camera and the sun. Jane Ellen is growing so fast so I've been trying to capture the 'little' times. She is a great baby - awake most of the morning and evenings - sleeping afternoons and nights. We are blessed. Wonder how long this will last...

Jane was thrilled to meet her Tante Ellen and Onkel Kolin! Family dinner at Oma and Poopa's ... meant lots of hands to hold Jane Ellen 'Kolin' Piovoso. She stayed up all evening - we hope that means she will sleep all night.

Seven days old and Nana and Gramps are here from London, Ontario! Jane has been spoiled - no surprise being the first grandchild of the family. We are having fun. Nana is busy painting Jane's room with flowers, bugs and animals ... it looks awesome. Jane is up most of the mornings - bright eyed ... and takes lots of naps the rest of the day. I think the milk acts like beer - she looks drunk after every feed and fades off into la la land.

No doubt we are still on a high with our new addition. We are enjoying sharing her and having her all to ourselves at the same time. As of day 5 of Jane Ellen's life, she has met lots of great people and must be doing well ... she has already almost reached her birth weight ... a fine drinker we have. Thanks for all the support everyone - we are very appreciative!
