40 years ...

This is what Oma and Poopa look like after being married for 40 years! Congrats! Thanks San for the visit. We are so glad you got to meet Jane Ellen! AND - as you can see, someone likes to feed herself. Looking forward to seeing the whole family this weekend!!

busy weekend already ... it's not even Sunday ... Poopa's birthday

Great day today. Jane Ellen (and us) had a blast at Mitchell and Kurtis' birthday party - so much fun that I didn't have a chance to take any photos. We then met our dear friend Marg and her pup Koda and went for a walk to see the ducks.

PS - Papa is hoping that Jane Ellen will love watching construction as much as he does... that was friday's adventure to the park.

Happy Easter

We had a fun Easter with Oma and Poopa and the Carlson family. Egg hunt, brunch, walk in the park ... lot's of chocolate - what more could we ask for?

Great day to be outside and playing! Even better that Papa was off work! Good Friday. Hard to believe Jane Ellen wears clothes made for a one year old. Thank you Gerhard and Beate! - we love it.

seven months old

Time is ticking. Jane Ellen is interested in EVERYTHING. She is more interested in what is going on then sleeping during the day. A very curious monkey we have. She has many 'heart to hearts' with her cousins, Caleb and Reiley and when she does sleep, Tante Elke and I play with the snow man that Papa made for her. Serves him right for using chocolate almonds for the eyes!
