Not many smiles

Ups and downs these past few days. Poor munchkin is feeling something! It is very hard to get a smile out of her lately - more like a scowl.

More teeth.

Someone has been feeling a little under the weather lately. Two new teeth on top may be the cause. Still tolerating activities ...albeit not as happily. A few days ago this same little one took 5 steps on her own. Papa witnessed it himself.

Oma and Poopa played with Jane Ellen all day so that we could go hiking. THANK YOU Oma and Poopa! Not that we have any photos of it. Just wanted to post one of Jane Ellen and Liam .. and Jane Ellen behind the wheel.

Still hot hot

Jane Ellen is still on the move despite the heat. She is walking (running!) always holding with one hand. She is VERY clear about where she wants to go and what she would like to have. I'd almost call it 'aggressive' behaviour and I hope it passes. We are having fun spending the days at the splash parks and playgrounds. Tough life, I know!!

We are really enjoying our new porch - thanks to Poopa and Papa! We had a great outdoor weekend at the Inglewood bird sanctuary, Johnston Canyon and Banff. It was nice to be out in the mountains again. Grandma Hilda - we tried to go back to that beautiful garden in Banff and take a photo in the same canoe for you ... but Jane Ellen was sleeping. Sigh. Thinking of you - hope you are well!

We had fun at the beach while the boys (Poopa and Papa) worked on the front porch. Looks good doesn't it? Ah, the life of leisure. Thanks Oma.
