We had a blast in Montreal sans kids and hubbies. Helga had an awesome marathon finish (3:40), we ate our way through Montreal (smoked meat sandwiches at Schwartz's, Fairmont bagels with cream cheese and smoked salmon, LOTS of ice cream and sushi too. We even visited the Alexander Port where we think mom and dad arrived from Germany by boat. Of course the Old Town, St Catherines and Notre Dame were frequented too. We were treated royally at the Weiss household, with a pre run chicken parmasan and homemade apple pie goodness ... mmmmm. We had fun with the boys; Jamie, Patrick, Darcy and Gabriel. It was great to see you Christina!! Thanks again for the visit.

Wht afun trip, can't believe it is over already and both school and work have stared up. The week is flying by. Hope you had a good transition back to real life!! I had so much fun, thanks again Heidi (and family!!)
A fabulous time it was.
You and Helga were an inspiration to me. Training for marathons when you both have young children is impressive. I have started back in the gym for some pre-running preparation. Although I did a fair bit of running myself on race day. That perhaps was worth a picture.
Thanks again to Paul for the rocks and fossils. Patrick loves them. And thanks Heidi for all the great games you played with the kids when you were here for supper. Today, Patrick requested that I build him the same fort you made with him. Flashlights and all.
You and Helga and family are always welcome here for a visit.
Hope to see you soon in Montreal,
Christina
